Eric Greer Awarded Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers

On July 2nd, Shi lab alumni, Eric Greer, received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE). The White House describes this award as the “highest honor bestowed by the United States Government to outstanding scientists and engineers who are beginning their independent research careers and who show exceptional promise for leadership in science and technology”. Eric conducted post-doctoral research in the Shi lab from 2010-2014, studying epigentic inheritance. Today, Greer is a Principal Investigator at Boston Children’s Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Congratulations, Eric!
