Welcome Michael!

Michael Costello is a graduate student at the University of California - Santa Barbra who is joining the Shi Lab as a vising PhD student. Michael is a member of Acosta-Alvear lab at UCSB and he is interested in the post-transcriptional determinants of stress responses, particularly those which influence the translation of select mRNAs.
